Throughout the years, business owners have gained an abundance of knowledge and skills to strengthen their business through building an online presence and reaching a larger audience.
To bring ease to these business owners, there are programs and resources available in Alberta for those who look to find new and efficient ways to grow and sustain their business.
On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Community Futures Entre-Corp will introduce The Digital Economy Program, The Canadian Adoption Program, and the programs that support them through a one-hour webinar.
“We want to help local business owners become aware of the programs that share knowledge, insight, and free services to assist in setting their business up for success,” says Darren Hall, project coordinator, Community Futures Entre-Corp. “There are so many programs available, and it can be hard to navigate what’s out there. Hosting webinars like this puts focus on the accessible programs and shows local business owners how they can sign up and benefit from these resources.”
The webinar that will take place from 12-1p.m. will present the two main programs, and the ones supporting them, which is Digital Service Squads, ShopHERE Powered by Google, Grow Your Business Online, and Boost Your Business Technology.
“With these specific programs featured in the webinar, they aren’t being connected to a call centre. They are usually connected with people who live in their region or province. There is also security and credibility in knowing these programs and resources are being recommended by an organization in the community,” says Hall.
From this webinar, local business owners can expect to learn more about available grants, loans, educational training, and where they can find free one-on-one coaching and mentoring in building a digital presence.
