Chloe Kilkenny opened Kilkenny Wellness in 2022, a vitamin infusion and injectable clinic in Medicine Hat and Redcliff.
The vitamin infusions are a direct delivery of vitamins, where 100% is absorbed into the body. It supports a wide range of healthcare needs, from brain fog, to migraines and gut health, and so much more.
Each infusion is personalized based on the client’s vitamin needs, and Kilkenny was looking to design a website to further share this message.
Through her experience with GrowthX, she connected with Tracy Stroud, regional innovation network manager with APEX Alberta. And from there, Stroud connected Kilkenny with Grace Evans, Digital Service Squad member with Community Futures Chinook.
Digital Service Squad is a free resource offered by Community Futures Chinook that assists in digital assets and education.
“Grace changed my world. I had tried to do the website myself, but she was able to align what I needed — bring forward my mission vision and guiding principles and highlight that,” says Kilkenny. “She was able to make it function the way it needed to, and in a way that was manageable for me afterwards.”
Evans implemented the brand colours in the design, organized the website so information was easy to find, and let Kilkenny know she was available for questions even after the website was designed.
“My insights on Google were better and had gone up. I’ve had people mentioned they’ve found me on Google. She knows the key things to ask and what’s important to highlight and is so helpful with such little direction.”
Kilkenny’s location in downtown Medicine Hat is alongside a hair and nail salon, tanning studio, botox studio, and cafe in the Kolab+ building. And the partnership works, because Kilkenny can offer the vitamin IV while clients are receiving another service.
Her Redcliff location allows for clients to relax in a more quiet space, and for those who may not have time to travel to Medicine Hat.
She also offers a mobile service and has hosted ladies nights, from leisure hangouts, to wedding parties, and birthday parties.
The business owner is connected with a local physician that reviews all patient charts and is who she and the nurses reach out to if they have questions.
“As a nurse, I wanted myself and other nurses to help people who were struggling with nutrient deficiencies and migraines. I started this business with my heart, and I would’ve had to pay a lot of money to have a website designed. It’s huge that this service is free for local business owners, and I am so grateful for Grace, and that Tracy connected me with Grace,” says Kilkenny.
